TAMIU Center for the Fine and Performing Arts hosts Spring art, dance, and music events

Live music and dance performances, as well as a student-themed art exhibit are all happening at Texas A&M International University’s (TAMIU) Center for the Fine and Performing Arts (CFPA).

Upcoming events include:

  • A Piano Recital featuring Grammy-nominated artist Petronel Malan – Thursday, March 20 at 7:30 p.m., CFPA Recital Hall.
  • Clarinet/Saxophone Studio Recital – Wednesday, March 26 at 6 p.m., CFPA Recital Hall
  • Harmony Across Borders Recital – Saturday, April 5 at 3 p.m., CFPA Recital Hall
  • Jazz Band Concert – Wednesday, April 9 at 6 p.m., CFPA Recital Hall
  • Patchwork: Voices of Many – A Senior Art Practicum Opening Reception – Thursday, April 10 at 5 p.m., CFPA Student Art Gallery – Exhibit ongoing through Friday, April 25
  • Symphonic Band Concert: Faculty Feature – Friday, April 11 at 7:30 p.m., CFPA Recital Hall
  • Music on the Menu – The French Connection – Wednesday, April 23 at 12:10 p.m., CFPA Recital Hall
  • Chamber Singers/Voice Spring Concert – Wednesday, April 23 at 7:30 p.m., CFPA Recital Hall
  • Keyboard Studio Recital – Thursday, April 24 at 6 p.m., CFPA Recital Hall
  • Chamber Music Recital – Thursday, April 24 at 7:30 p.m., CFPA Recital Hall
  • Spring Dance Concert – Friday, April 25 at 7:30 p.m., CFPA Theater – Tickets are $10 per person
  • Percussion Ensemble Concert – Wednesday, April 30 at 7:30 p.m., CFPA Recital Hall
  • Guitar Ensemble Concert – Friday, May 2 at 7:30 p.m., CFPA Recital Hall

The Borderlands Photography Show in the CFPA Student Art Gallery continues through Friday, March 28.

Unless otherwise noted, all events are offered at no cost. Donations are gladly accepted at the door to support scholarships for TAMIU fine and performing arts students.
